    Abstract
Anak Laut Lake is a coastal lake whose water conditions are influenced by tidal dynamics. This research was conducted with the parameters of temperature, dissolved oxygen (DO), salinity and pH. The purpose of this study was to determine the description of temperature conditions, dissolved oxygen availability, salinity and pH vertically for 24 hours in Anak Laut Lake waters and to determine the critical level of dissolved oxygen vertically for 24 hours in Anak Laut Lake waters. The research took place in March 2023. There were 4 observation stations including station 1 (outlet and inlet and directly adjacent to the open sea), station 2 (fish landing base and near KJA), station 3 (mangrove ecosystem and river flow), station 4 ( near settlements and tourist activities). The results of the research that has been done show that temperature, dissolved oxygen and pH vertically show that with increasing depth the concentration decreases, while for salinity with increasing depth the concentration of salinity is the same. Temperatures range from 28oC– 30oC. The highest DO was found at surface depth of 6.5 mg/l and the lowest at a compensation depth of 5.0 mg/l. Salinity values were obtained ranging from 15 – 30 ppt and pH values obtained were 7.1 – 8.4. The highest saturation percentage is obtained at the depth of the surface with a value of 89.23% The DO concentration is classified as not critical or very good for fisheries in general and for the life of organisms with the lowest DO value of 5.0 mg/l.
