This thesis analyzes the presentation of nuri-nuri in Karo culture, analyzes the melodic aspects contained in nuyri-nuri, analyzes the function of nuri-nuri in Karo culture, and analyzes the meaning of nuri-nuri as moral values according to Karo culture. As an analysis material, the writer uses turi-turin pulka kirik. To analyze the problem above, the author uses a qualitative method with an ethnographic approach. The author also uses discourse theory, structural functionalism theory, meaning theory, music analysis theory and music function theory to support the analysis process. From the results of the analysis, it was found, first, that the presentation of nuri-nuri must have the ability to convey the storyline along with its function and meaning. Second, the presentation of the nuri-nuri is also conveyed by an element of singing called rengget. It was found that the existence of singing as communication, emotional expression, teaching, entertainment, cultural continuity, and intellectual development and imagination. Third, the results of the analysis of the function of nuri-nuri in Karo culture are teaching, ethics and morals, filling time, entertainment, communication, physical reactions and explaining genealogy. Fourth, the results of the analysis of the meaning in nuri-nuri as moral values according to Karo culture are beliefs, norms, lessons, pantang-larang, necessities of life, kinship, ideals, life expectancy.
