Kegiatan Pendidikan Pemakai pada Perpustakaan Sintong Bingei

Abstract

User Education is a program held by libraries to provide their users coaching, guidance, or education in using information service and library facilities. The objective of this study is to delve into user education conducted by Sintong Bingei Library. The scope of this study is limited to user education, socialization, library tourism, and introduction to library facilities. The data are collected through library research, interview, and observation (scrutiny). The findings demonstrate that user education is held by conducting socialization to the regions surrounding Pematang Siantar, socialization to library users, utilization of audiovisual device, and mobile library.
