Penyelenggaraan Layanan Digital pada Perpustakaan Soeman H.S. Provinsi Riau

Abstract

This scientific writing is written in the Soeman H.S library of Riau Province. Its objective was to find out digital service system and facility in the Soeman H.S. library, Riau province. The data are collected through library study, observation, interview, and documentation. The result of the analysis shows that the activity of organizing digital service in this library includes four programs with their respective utility: 1) iRiau, 2) CoE (Center of Excellent), 3) OPAC (Online Public Access Catalogue), and 4) SIKN (National Filling Information System). All the activities of organizing digital service in this library full into good category. The digital services have their resoective utility as follows; iRiau is created to facilitate the access to reading books and developing readers’ community through application, CoE is created to know information about the local culture in Sumatera, OPAC is launched to enable library users to search for books easily, and SIKN is made to get information about the national archives, easily and quickly.
