Peranan Sistem Informasi Akuntansi sebagai Alat Pengambilan Keputusan pada PT. PLN (Persero) ULP Medan Baru

Abstract

PT. The State Electricity Company is one of the State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN), a company engaged in the field of electrical energy services. Accounting in a company plays an important role, because the accounting function can provide information about data in units of money. To collect financial data, a good information system is needed. The right information is needed by management in making decisions for the future development of the company. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of management information systems as a decision-making tool at PT. PLN (Persero) ULP Medan Baru. The data collection method used by researchers is qualitative which explains the decision-making process. The result of this research is that the accounting information system works effectively on decision making, this is in line with the influence of the accounting information system on decision making
