Tradisi Lisan di Nagori Sibaganding, Kecamatan Girsang Sipangan Bolon, Kabupaten Simalungun : Kajian Tradisi Lisan

Abstract

This thesis is entitled "Oral Traditio in Sibaganding Village, Girsang Sipangan Bolon District, Simalungun Regency: A Study of Oral Traditions". The purpose of this study is to describe the oral traditions that exist in the Sibaganding Village area, describe the beliefs of the Sibaganding people in the legend of the Hanging Stone and describe the local wisdom that exists in the Old Sibaganding area. The theory used in this study is the theory of oral tradition and local wisdom. The research method used is a qualitative method or research in the field. The result of this research is that there are four oral traditions in Old Sibaganding, namely the Marbatu Tradition, Pauli Jabu, the Legend of Hanging Stone and the Legend of Sibaganding. The values of local wisdom that exist in the oral tradition in Old Sibaganding. The belief of the old Sibaganding people in the Legend of the Hanging Stone. The conclusion is that Sibaganding Village has four oral traditions, namely the Marbatu Tradition, Pauli Jabu, the Legend of Hanging Stone and the Legend of Sibaganding. The values of Local wisdom in the Oral Tradition in Sibaganding are politeness, social solidarity, harmony & conflict resolution, commitment, positive thoughts, gratitude, hard work, mutual cooperation and gender management.
