Gejala Sosial pada Film Animasi Upin & Ipin Geng: Pengembaraan Bermula

Abstract

This study aims to describe the intrinsic elements in the Animated Film Upin & Ipin Geng: Journey Begins such as themes, characters and characterizations, plot and message. Describe the social phenomena that occur in the Upin & Ipin Geng Animated Film: Journey Begins which includes social facts, social events, social behavior and social change. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The theory used in this study is the structural theory and sociology of literature. The research data is sourced from the Animated Film Upin & Ipin Geng: Journey Begins. The data collection technique used in this research is note-taking technique. The analysis technique used in this study is dialogue and image analysis in the Animated Film Upin & Ipin Geng: Journey Begins. The results of this study indicate that in the intrinsic element there is the theme of Upin and Ipin's adventures who were lost in the forest and the disclosure of a crime. Characters and characterizations, the protagonist numbered 12 figures and 3 antagonist figures. The plot in this film is a forward and backward plot. Place setting is 5 data, time setting is 4 data, atmosphere setting is 5 data. The message to be conveyed is not to be careless, to help each other and to be brave. The social facts in this film are acts of crime and acts of kindness. The social events from this study are illustrated by the theft of durian fruit, hunting of wild animals, getting lost in the forest and fighting against crime. The social behaviors found in this study were durian stealing, caring, being nosy, being able to talk to animals, anger, helpers and hunting animals. Social changes in film are safety and convenience.
