| dc.description.abstract | The writing of this paper was carried out at the Archives Technical Implementation Unit of Medan State University. The purpose of this writing is to find out the management of active dynamic archives in the Medan State University Archives Technical Implementation Unit. The data collection methods used are literature study, observation, interview, and documentation. The results of the writing show that active dynamic archive management activities at the Medan State University Archives Technical Implementation Unit consist of archive creation, use, maintenance, and depreciation. Archive creation is in the form of incoming and outgoing mail management activities using agenda books and control cards; archive use is in the form of archive accessing activities and archive retrieval processes that are still manual; archive maintenance is in the form of filing and archive storage activities; archive shrinkage is in the form of active dynamic archive destruction activities through stages: formation of an archive appraisal committee, archive selection, making a list of proposed destruction archives, archive assessment, application for approval / consideration, implementation of archive destruction. So it can be said that the management of active dynamic archives at the Medan State University Archives Technical Implementation Unit has been done well. | en_US |
