This study aims to determine the effect of financial rewards, professional
training, social values, personality, and work environment on the interest in
becoming an auditor in accounting students at the University of North Sumatra
class of 2019-2021. This type of research is clausal associative research using
primary data types. The population in this study were USU Undergraduate
Accounting students class 2019-2021, with a total sample of 746 students from 110
people who met the sample selection criteria. The data source for this research is
primary data obtained from observation and distributing questionnaires via Google
form to students. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statistical analysis
and multiple regression model analysis using data quality tests, classical
assumption tests and hypothesis testing in the form of coefficient of determination
tests and partial tests. The results of this study show that partially the variables of
financial rewards, professional training, social values, personality and work
environment have a significant positive effect on the interest in becoming an auditor
in accounting students at the University of North Sumatra class of 2019-2021.
