Kinerja Pengelolaan Badan Usaha Milik Desa (BUMDES) Desa Durin Tonggal Kecamatan Pancur Batu Kabupaten Deli Serdang

Abstract

This research aims to determine and explain the performance of the management of the Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) Sehati Desa Durin Tonggal in Pancur Batu Subdistrict, Deli Serdang Regency. It also aims to describe and provide in-depth explanations about the information regarding BUMDes management, BUMDes strategies, and BUMDes supervision related to efforts to improve community welfare. This research is important as a contribution to the thinking and considerations for the village government in making policies related to the management performance of BUMDes Sehati Desa Durin Tonggal in the context of increasing community income and the contribution of BUMDes to the village revenue. The research method used is qualitative research with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques include interviews, observations, documentation, and literature review. Research informants consist of the BUMDes Chairman, BUMDes Treasurer, Village Officials, Village Facilitators, and the community of Durin Tonggal Village. The results of this research indicate that the performance of the management of the Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) Sehati Desa Durin Tonggal in Pancur Batu Subdistrict, Deli Serdang Regency, based on the indicators from Agus Dwiyanto's theory (2006) in performance measurement, is still lacking in the indicators of Productivity, Responsiveness, and Organizational Performance Accountability. In terms of productivity, the management performance of BUMDes Sehati Desa Durin Tonggal is not sufficiently effective, considering the implementation of realizations that do not align with the plans/targets. In terms of responsiveness, the responsiveness of the BUMDes organization is still low, as decisions are made abruptly based on rapidly acquired information. In terms of accountability, inadequate management becomes one of the inhibiting factors in the management of BUMDes Sehati Desa Durin Tonggal. Insufficient BUMDes officials, coupled with dual roles held by village officials as both village and BUMDes officials, contribute to this issue.
