Pengaruh Pendelegasian Wewenang dan Motivasi Kerja terhadap Kinerja Karyawan pada Divisi Operasional PT. Bank Sumut Kantor Pusat Medan
Abstract
Effective and efficient human resource management can affect the survival
and growth of an organization in order to create and produce productive
performance. The achievement of productive performance results, PT. Bank Sumut
Medan Head Office needs an effective delegation of authority so that the work
implementation process can run well, and with high work motivation can complete
the work on time, so that the performance of employees at PT. Bank Sumut Pusat
Medan can be realized well.
This study aims to analyze how the influence of Delegation of Authority and
work motivation on Employee Performance in the Operational Division of PT. Bank
Sumut Medan Headquarters. The influence between Delegation of Authority and
Work Motivation will be analyzed partially and simultaneously on Employee
Performance.
The form of research used in this research is quantitative research with an
associative approach. The population in this study are employees in the
Operational Division of PT. Bank Sumut, totaling 68 people. Sampling was carried
out through nonprobability sampling technique with a saturated sample model, the
number of respondents was 68 respondents. The data collection method used in this
study was primary data obtained by distributing questionnaires while secondary
data was obtained through library research. The data analysis method used is
validity test, reliability test, classic assumption test, multiple linear regression
analysis, and hypothesis testing.
The results of the research show that the Delegation of Authority variable
and research variables have a partial and significant effect on Employee
Performance, the Work Motivation variable has a significant effect on Employee
Performance, the Delegation of Authority and Work Motivation variables
simultaneously affect Employee Performance. Based on the coefficient of
determination test, there is a close relationship between Delegation of Authority
and Work Motivation on Employee Performance with an R value of 0.787. Through
the value of the adjusted R square there is a contribution of Delegation of Authority
and Work Motivation of 60.8% to Employee Performance. While the remaining
39.2% is influenced by other variables not explained in this study.
