    Abstract
This study addresses the topic of interactions among multicultural female students (A Phenomenological Study on Female Students in the USU Dormitory). Humans are born as social beings, which means they cannot live a normal life without the presence of other individuals. Interaction is closely related to one's instinct to live together with others and to connect with their social environment. The research methodology used in this study is phenomenology with a qualitative approach. Informants were selected using the snowball sampling technique, and 12 informants were interviewed, including 10 key informants and 2 additional informants. The findings of this study indicate that the interactions among multicultural female students in the USU Dormitory take place in two forms: associative and dissociative. In the associative form, there is cooperation, such as complying with the regulations in the USU Dormitory, which is evident when the students participate and remind each other to engage in religious activities and maintain cleanliness in the dormitory environment. In the dissociative form, individualistic attitudes are observed among multicultural female students, leading to a lack of mutual familiarity and the formation of groups based on race or ethnicity. Furthermore, conflicts among the students, such as personal disputes and differences in opinions, are still prevalent. The impacts of the interactions among multicultural female students in the USU Dormitory include positive effects, such as mutual respect for each other's differences in ethnicity, religion, race, and culture, as well as the development of relationships among the students. However, there are also negative effects, such as the presence of individualistic attitudes among the students, resulting in a lack of mutual familiarity despite living in the same dormitory. Additionally, some students still exhibit discriminatory behaviors or form groups based on race, religion, or ethnicity, which weakens the relationships among the students
