Upaya Peningkatan Partisipasi Pemilih Melalui Program Desa Peduli Pemilu dan Pemilihan di Kabupaten Deli Serdang (Studi Kasus: Desa Tembung, Kecamatan Percut Sei Tuan)

Abstract

Desa peduli pemilu dan pemilihan program is a program that aims to provide political education for the community, especially the community in the village area. Tembung Village is a village that is a special location in the North Sumatra Province area. Tembung Village became a special location in this program is the problem of the low level of participation in Tembung Village. The purpose of the research is to find out the efforts of the Village program to care about elections and elections to increase participation in the Tembung Village community. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method. The main techniques in collecting data are interviews and documentation. The results of the research are found that the community in Tembung Village is still low in political awareness because the Village program cares about elections and this election has not been maximized because only 25 people participated in the training of this program. The results of further research found that participants who participated in the training of the Village program care about elections and elections are people with the same address. Furthermore, it was found that organizations in Tembung Village play an active role in community participation in Tembung Village.
