    Abstract
Astropolitics is a study that examines the interconnection between the space domain and the development of strategic policies on Earth. Astropolitics has become an attractive field for some of today's advanced countries such as China and the United States. Competition arises between the two countries with the primary goal of prioritizing their respective domestic interests. China's rapid advances in various fields have balanced the equation and are viewed as a new threat to the United States. China is seeking to develop its capacity in space to avoid space threats and pursue advancements by the United States, in response to the U.S. rejection of China's membership at the International Space Station (ISS). This study adopts a descriptive-qualitative research method that aims to depict in-depth the history of China's and the United States' competition in space, as well as the history of China's space development. It also analyzes China's strategy to deal with U.S. astropolitical dominance using Astropolitics, Security Dilemma and National Security analysis . China, as a new power in astropolitics, implements several strategies to confront the dominance of the United States. These strategies include publishing the White Paper on China's Space Activity, pursuing technological development, and engaging in bilateral and multilateral cooperation
