farmers is one opportunity that is quite profitable. In Kabanjahe City, with
the majority of farming community jobs, there is the Mitra Artha Dana Mandiri
cooperative which operates with the aim of improving the welfare of its
members. This cooperative has been established since 2008.
This study focuses on employees to find out how influential
compensation, work environment, and career development are on employees'
intention to resign. The influence of compensation, work environment, and
career development will be analyzed partially and simultaneously on the level
of employee turnover intention.
The method used in this study is a quantitative method. The method of
determining the sample used in this study is to use a saturated sample. So, the
number of samples in this study were 30 respondents. The results of the study
show that there is a partial and significant influence between the compensation,
work environment, and career development variables on the turnover intention
variable, and there is a simultaneous and significant effect of each independent
variable on the dependent variable. The R value is 73.2%, which means that the
relationship between the x and y variables is very close. Through the adjusted R
Square value, it is known that compensation, work environment, and career
development have an effect of 53.6% on tunrover intention. while the remaining
46.4% is influenced by other variables not discussed in this study.
Based on the results of the data test that has been done, it can be seen
that the variables of compensation, work environment, and career development
have an influence with a negative value or in the opposite direction to the
variable turnover intention. The greater the level of compensation, the more
comfortable the work environment in the office, and the higher the career
development opportunities provided, the lower the turnover intention.
