Employee performance is a foundation for every company, because without
performance it’s difficult to achieve the goals set by the compan. Employees have
an important role in dedicating themselves by providing the best performance for
the company. However, the lack of self confidence, concern and initiative towards
work and work environment, makes employee work results less than optimal for the
company. The factors that can strengthen employee performance are through self
efficacy and organizational citizenship behavior.
The study aims to determine how the effect of self efficacy on employee
Performance at PT. Pos Indonesia KCU Medan, analyzing the effect of
organizational citizenship behavior on employee performance at PT. Pos Indonesia
KCU Medan,and to analyzing the effect of Self Efficacy and Organizational
Citizenship Behavior on employee performance at PT. Pos Indonesia KCU Medan.
This research uses quantitative methods. The population in this study are
employees at PT. Pos Indonesia KCU Medan 20000. The sample taken in this study
was 56 people. The sampling technique in this study was purposive sampling. The
data collection method in this study used a questionnaire method which was
measured using a likert scale. Data analysis methods used in this study are validity
test, reliability test, classical assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis,
multiple correlation analysis, and hypothesis testing using SPSS.
The results of this study indicate that self efficacy and organizational
citizenship behavior effect employee performance. Based on the results of the
determination test, it was found that the Adjusted R Square value wa 0,389, which
means 38,9%. So it can be concluded that there is a direct correlation between the
variables self efficacy, organizational citizenship behavior and employee
performance. The R Square value of 0,641 (64,1%) independent variabel self
efficacy and organizational citizenship behavior simultaneously has an effect of
64,1% on the dependent variable employee performance, while the rest is
infulenced by other variables not examined in this study.
