Employee performance is one aspect that must be considered by the
company because if the employee's performance is not appropriate, it will affect
the development and progress of the company. To improve the performance of
employees, an assessment of work attitude and improvement of employee
competence in the work environment is urgently needed.
This study aims to analyze the effect of work attitude, employee
competency and work environment on employee performance at PT BTN Medan
Branch Office Consumer Collection Recovery & Asset Sales Unit Division. The
effect of work attitude, employee competence and work environment will be tested
partially and simultaneously on employee performance.
The research method used in this research is quantitative research with an
associative approach. The population in this study were 61 employees of PT BTN
Medan Branch Office Consumer Collection Recovery & Asset Sales Unit.
Sampling was carried out through nonprobability sampling technique with a
saturated sample model, the number of respondents was 61 respondents. The data
collection method used in this study was primary data obtained by distributing
questionnaires while secondary data was obtained through library research. The
analytical method used is validity test, reliability test, classical assumption test,
multiple linear regression analysis and hypothesis testing.
The results of the research conducted show that the variable work attitude,
employee competency and work environment have a partial and significant effect
on employee performance. The variables work attitude, employee competence and
work environment also have a simultaneous and significant effect on employee
performance. The resulting coefficient values show that the relationship between
work attitude, employee competence and work environment on employee
performance is very strong with an R value of 0.828 or 82.8%. Adjusted R Square
value is also known that the variable work attitude, employee competency and
work environment can explain the employee performance variable by 66.8% while
the remaining 33.2% is influenced by other variables not explained in this study
