dc.description.abstractIn this era of ever-evolving knowledge, companies must recognize the importance of human capital and a quality management approach. A quality human capital and quality management approach can increase a company's innovation, efficiency and productivity. This study aims to analyze how the influence of human capital and total quality management on managerial performance with the reward system as a moderating variable. The influence between human capital and total quality management will be analyzed partially and simultaneously on managerial performance and using moderation regression analysis The form of research used is quantitative with an associative approach. The population in this study uses the Slovin formula with a total of 36 respondents as a sample. Primary data used in this study were obtained by distributing questionnaires directly while secondary data was obtained through library research. The data analysis method used is instrument test, classic assumption test, regression moderation analysis and hypothesis testing using SPSS. The results of the research conducted show that human capital and total quality management have a significant effect both partially and simultaneously on managerial performance at PT Pegadaian Regional Office I Medan. The coefficient of determination test shows that there is a close relationship between variables with an R value of 0.635. Through the adjusted R square value it is also known that the human capital and total quality management variables contribute 36.7% to the managerial performance variable while the remaining 63.3% is influenced by other variables outside this research model. The reward system in this study was able to moderate the relationship between the independent variables and the dependent variable with an R value of 0.713 and an adjusted R square value of 50.8% in the close category.en_US
