dc.description.abstract | This study aims to identify and analyze the factors that can affect employment in culinary home businesses in Percui Sei Tuan District, Deli Serdang Regency. The factors used to analyze labor absorption include the level of wages, capital, turnover, length of working hours, and length of business.
This study used primary data which was directly obtained from respondents, namely the owner or manager of a culinary business in Percut Sei Tuan District, Deli Serdang Regency. The method used in this research is multiple linear regression test or it can be called Ordinary Least Square (OLS) with test tools, namely Eviews 10 and SPSS. The number of samples used in this study amounted to 60 respondents.
The results of this study indicate that the wage variable has a non- significant negative effect on labor absorption in the quinary business in Percut Sei Tuan District, Deli Serdang Regency, while the capital variable and working hours have a positive but not significant effect on labor absorption in the culinary home business in Percut Sei District. Tuan Deli Serdang Regency, and the turnover variable and the length of business variable have a significant positive effect on employment absorption in the culinary business in Percut Sei Tuan District, Deli Serdang Regency. | en_US |
