Produksi Jagung di Kabupaten Karo Tahun 2012 - 2016

Abstract

The purpose of this Final Assignment is to know whether there is a correlation or relationship between the factors Harvested Area, Rainfall and Wind Speed to Corn Production Results and to find out how big these factors affect the production of maize in Karo Regency. In addition, to conduct research that matches the above objectives by using multiple linear regression analysis method. Multiple linear regression analysis method is a linear that explains the presence or absence of a functional relationship and predicts the influence of two independent variables (X) or more on the dependent variable (Y). From the above research and discussion, it can be concluded as follows: Y = -84.114,52 + 8,495X - 7,466X - 415,77X . This means that the constant of -84.114.52 states if there is no harvested area, rainfall, and wind speed (independent variable) then the production will decrease by 84,114,52 thousand tons per year. The regression coefficient X1 of 8.495 states that every increase of harvested area, there is an increase of corn production as much as 8.495 thousand tons. The regression coefficient X2 of -7.466 states that every addition of rainfall, then the decline in corn production of 7.469 thousand tons. The regression coefficient X3 of -415,77 states that every additional wind speed, then the decrease of corn production as much as 415,77 thousand tons. Coefficient of determination equal ( to 0.992 and by finding R, obtained the coefficient of correlation equal to 0,996.

Tujuan penulisan Tugas Akhir ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat hubungan atau korelasi antara faktor-faktor Luas Panen, Curah Hujan dan Kecepatan Angin terhadap Hasil Produksi Jagung dan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar faktor-faktor tersebut mempengaruhi produksi jagung di Kabupaten Karo. Di samping itu, untuk melakukan penelitian yang sesuai tujuan di atas dengan menggunakan metode analisis regresi linier berganda. Metode analisis regresi linier berganda merupakan suatu linier yang menjelaskan ada tidaknya suatu hubungan fungsional dan meramalkan pengaruh dua variabel bebas (X) atau lebih terhadap variabel terikat (Y). Dari hasil penelitian dan pembahasan di atas, dapat diperoleh kesimpulan sebagai berikut: ̂ = -84.114,52 + 8,495X - 7,466X - 415,77X . Artinya Konstanta sebesar -84.114,52 menyatakan jika tidak ada luas panen, curah hujan, dan kecepatan angin (variabel bebas) maka produksi akan menurun sebesar 84.114,52 ribu ton pertahun. Koefisien regresi X1 sebesar 8,495 menyatakan bahwa setiap kenaikan luas panen, maka terjadi kenaikan produksi jagung sebanyak 8,495 ribu ton. Koefisien regresi X2 sebesar -7,466 menyatakan bahwa setiap penambahan curah hujan, maka terjadi penurunan produksi jagung sebanyak 7,469 ribu ton. Koefisien regresi X3 sebesar -415,77 menyatakan bahwa setiap pemambahan kecepatan angin, maka terjadi penurunan produksi jagung sebanyak 415,77 ribu ton. Koefisien determinasi ( sebesar 0,992 dan dengan mencari R, diperoleh koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,996.
