dc.description.abstractThe company will retain employees who are committed to the organization. This is because employees who have an organizational commitment will contribute and be actively engaged to advance the organization. Person job fit and person organization fit are suspected to be factors that have an influence on organizational commitment. When an employee is compatible with both the work and the organization, that employee will be responsible and maintain his or her membership in the organization. The study aims to analyze how the impact of person job fit and person organization fit on organizational commitment (a study in PT. Bina Media Perintis Medan employees). The influence between the person job fit and the person organization fit will be both partial and simultaneous analysis of the organizational commitment. The form of research used for this study is quantitative with an associative approach. Sampling was done through the purposive sampling techniques and used 40 of the respondents as a sample. Primary data used in this study is obtained by direct dissemination of questionnaires while secondary data are acquired through literature studies. The methods of data analysis used are validity tests, reliability tests, classical assumptions tests,multiple linear regression analysis, and hypothesis tests. The research results show that person job fit (X1) and person organization fit (X2) significantly affect organizational commitment (Y). Variable person job fit and person organization fit simultaneously affect organizational commitment (Y). The coefficient of determination test shows a very close relationship between person job fit and person organization fit on organizational commitment. On repurchase intention with an R-value of 0.929 through the adjusted R square value, it is known that the person job fit and person organization fit contribute 85.5% to organizational commitment. In comparison, 14.5% is effected by other variablesen_US
