dc.description.abstract | PDAM Tirtauli Pematangsiantar is a company in charge of providing clean water and serving customer complaints regarding clean water disturbances. However, in the last few months there has been a decline in service that can be overcome by PDAM Tirtauli Pematangsiantar employees. This is caused because employees are still less involved in carrying out tasks and lack of self-confidence experienced by employees. This study aims to determine the effect of Employee Engagement and Self Efficacy on employee performance at PDAM Tirtauli Pematangsiantar. The influence of Employee Engagaemnt and Self Efficacy will be analyzed partially and simultaneously on employee performance The population in this study were 74 respondents. This study used a quantitative method involving 74 employees as the research sample. The sampling technique is Simple Random Sampling. The data collection used was a questionnaire using a Likert scale which was distributed to respondents directly. The data analysis technique used the validity-reliability instrument test, the classical assumption test and the hypothesis test using SPSS-assisted multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that employee engagement and self efficacy variables have a positive and significant effect on employee performance partially and simultaneously. The coefficient of determination test shows that there is a fairly close relationship between employee engagement and self-efficacy on employee performance with an R value of 0.661. The size of the adjusted R square also shows that employee engagement and self-efficacy variables contribute 42.1% to employee performance, while the remaining 57.9% are influenced by variables not examined in this study. | en_US |
