Insulator strings is one of the important components in the transmission and distribution of electrical energy systems. The voltage distribution of insulator strings can be influenced by various factors, such as layer variation, pollutants, and humidity on their surface. This study aims to determine the effect of RTV silicone coating, epoxy resin, and air humidity on the voltage distribution of insulator strings under clean and polluted conditions. The method used in this research is the experimental method in the laboratory. Based on the analysis conducted, it can be seen that the coating on the insulator worsens the voltage distribution, as evidenced by the higher values of the voltage distribution uniformity factor in polluted and humid conditions.en_US
