    Abstract
The existence of Man in woman body people in society is nothing new even though it is not implicit in normative gender identities, namely male and female genders. The figure of Man in woman body people who are accepted or rejected in society will largely be determined by how they implement it in their existence and in society so that they can become part of that social environment. This research focuses on transgender women who work as bridal makeup in Beringin District, Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatra. This study used a qualitative method with in-depth interviews with 10 informants using an interview guide. In this study, there are two research focuses, namely stereotypes as a Man in woman body bridal makeup artist and the masculinity of a Man in woman body who works as a bridal makeup artist. The results of this study found several negative labels for waria such as strange, rude, and so on. In addition, researchers also found that waria look like women because they have been internalized in terms of values and habits since they were teenagers. On the other hand, waria still have some masculine traits such as being tough, hardworking, and responsible. This is because most of the informants are the backbone of the family. Even in the process of life as a waria, there are many twists and turns of rejection and acceptance by society and family.
