In the current era of globalitation, every company is required to be ready
to face thistype of competition in the business world and companie must be able to
improve performance, one of which is employee performance. For this reason, sales
people must have the ability to support the company success in achieving company
goals.
This study aims to determine whether the influence of hard skills, soft skills
and work experience of the brand in influencing consumers in determining the
purchase of a product.
This type of research is quantitative research with an associative approach.
The population in this study were employees of The Athlete’s Foot SUN Plaza and
Delipark Medan, the sample was determined to be 36 respondents with a saturated
sampling technique. Data collection techniques in this study used primary and
secondary data obtained through books and jurnals related to this research. The
data analysis method used is validity test, reliability test, classical assumption test,
multiple linear analysis, partial test and determination test.
The result of this study indicate that the variables hard skills, soft skills and
work experience have a positive and significant effect on employee performance.
Hard skills, soft skills and work experience simultaneously influence employee
performance, with an R value of 0.705, where the coefficient value indicates the
effect of hard skilss, soft skills and work experience of 70,5% on employee
performance, which means it is classified as strong. Adjust R Square value is 45%,
while the remaining 55% is influenced by other variables not explained in this
study
