    Abstract
Vape is a cigarette that uses electricity from a battery to deliver nicotine in the form of vapor and flow it into the lungs. Electronic cigarettes do not use tobacco but contain liquid nicotine, propylene glycol, and flavorings. The use of electronic cigarettes is a lifestyle and is used by both men and women.Vaping is no longer a taboo subject for some Indonesian people, it is not even uncommon for women to use vape. In social life, this phenomenon creates stereotypes for women who use vape because of the views and values that are used to create social labels for women who use vape in society. This research is to answer the formulation of the problem of how to label cafe visitors to women who use vape (electronic cigarettes) in cafes around Padang Bulan Village. This study aims to find out and interpret how labeling is given by cafe visitors to women who use Vape (electronic cigarettes) at Padang Bulan Medan cafes. This type of research uses a descriptive qualitative approach. This type of research was used to dig deeper into how the labeling was given by visitors when they saw women using vape and how the labeling process was carried out by research subjects in seeing the phenomenon of women using vape. This research was conducted in Padang Bulan Village, Medan Baru District, Medan City. The research targets were cafes around Padang Bulan such as the Black and White cafe, Bojak Cafe, Millennial Cafe, and the Medan Tree House Cafe. The results of the study show that there are 3 types of labeling, namely: (1) labeling bad girls, cafe visitors assess that women who use vape are too free in association so they no longer care about the socio-cultural values of society. In terms of cultural values in society, women must be able to maintain good behavior (2) labeling goes with the changing times, cafe visitors judge that vape users on average become users because their friends follow suit and then female vape users want to show off that lifestyle they can also have a trendy lifestyle by using vape (3) labeling women don't care about health, cafe visitors think that women shouldn't smoke or use vape The use of vape is considered harmful to a woman's womb, this is supported by the warnings on every pack of cigarettes and vape boxes about the dangers of smoking for pregnant women.Labelling created by cafe visitors based on the values they have in social interaction, namely socio-cultural values, religious values and health values
