Background: Most pregnant women who receive the COVID-19 vaccine during their third trimester experience transplacental IgG transfer to the fetus. The observed average IgG transfer ratio indicated that the infant's antibody level was almost the same as that of the mother. However, research in Indonesia on serological analysis of newborns in vaccinated pregnant women is still limited. Method: Descriptive analytic research with a cross-sectional design was used in this study. Umbilical IgG titers of newborns were carried out from serological examination of anti-SARS-CoV-2 IgG of the umbilical cord of pregnant women at H Adam Malik Hospital and Jejaring Hospital in Medan. The sample met the inclusion and exclusion criteria and then the data was analyzed. Results: The study sample was dominated by multigravida parity and aged between 31-35 years. The majority of the samples had been vaccinated twice with the Sinovac type of vaccination. All umbilical IgG serology of newborns were reactive with a mean IgG titer of 5242.8 ± 6253.9. Statistically, the titers resulting from two doses of vaccine were not significantly related (p=0.346) Conclusion: The titers resulting from the administration of two doses of the vaccine were not significantly different compared to the administration of three doses of the vaccine to pregnant women.en_US
