    Rancang Bangun Walkie Talkie Menggunakan Mikrokontroler ESP32 dengan Memanfaatkan Jaringan Wifi

    Abstract
    This research aims to design and implement a walkie-talkie using the ESP32 microcontroller by utilizing WiFi network. Testing was conducted within a range of 10 meters to 100 meters to assess the reliability of communication at different distances. The testing involved positioning two walkie-talkie devices at varying distances, ranging from 10 meters to 100 meters. Each device would transmit the voice message "hello, how are you?" to the other device through the WiFi network. The sound quality and communication reliability were evaluated at each tested distance. Furthermore, this design also considered power consumption and energy efficiency. The ESP32 microcontroller was configured to achieve high power efficiency. Power and energy consumption measurements were conducted to evaluate how successful this design was in achieving low power and energy consumption values. The results of this research present a walkie-talkie design using the ESP32 microcontroller and utilizing WiFi network. Additionally, the walkie-talkie achieved a communication range of up to 100 meters with power consumption values of 0.0012 Watt when idle, 0.0032 Watt when transmitting information, and 0.002 Watt when receiving information. The energy consumption of the walkie-talkie was 0.0024 Joule when idle, 0.0064 Joule when transmitting information, and 0.004 Joule when receiving information. These findings demonstrate that the walkie-talkie in this study performs well and is energy efficient.
