PT PLN Unit Pelaksana Pengatur Distribusi (UP2D) is responsible for maintaining
the reliability and efficiency of electricity distribution. UP2D has set success indicators
such as Energy Not Served (ENS), System Average Interruption Duration Index (SAIDI),
System Average Interruption Frequency Index (SAIFI) as measures to improve reliability.
One of the approaches taken is the installation of Load Break Switches (LBS) as outlined
in the 2023 Rencana Kerja Anggaran Perusahaan (RKAP), which assigns PT PLN UP2D
to install 250 new LBS units on feeders. However, UP2D does not have a clear method for
determining the distribution and priority of LBS installation among feeders. Therefore, this
research utilizes the Fuzzy AHP and TOPSIS methods as optimization tools in decision making to determine the priority of feeders. The objective of this research is to determine
the ranking of feeder priorities using performance scores as a reference. In this study, 253
feeder alternatives were analyzed using six criteria: ENS, SAIDI, SAIFI, feeder load, feeder
length, and internet signal condition. The weighting results show that the highest weight is
assigned to the ENS criterion, amounting to 35.6%. Based on the ranking through
performance scores, 67 priority feeders were selected for the installation of 100 new LBS
units.
