Analisis Pencahayaan dan Dampaknya terhadap Performansi Pekerja pada Area Workshop Jalur Produksi I di PT. Wijaya Karya Beton
Abstract
Lighting is an important factor in designing space to support user comfort.
Lack of light support in a room will cause activities in the room to be disrupted. To
increase work effectiveness and work safety, operator work efficiency is assessed
from the accuracy and thoroughness when looking at work. The lighting in the
workshop area of production line I is 98 lux which is not in accordance with the
standards of the Minister of Health Regulation No. 70 2016 concerning work
environment health standards and requirements states that the standard light
intensity level in factories or production areas working with machines is 300 lux.
Inadequate lighting causes workers to experience eye fatigue when working at night
so they experience a lack of focus at night. The results of measuring eye fatigue
using the flicker fusion tool 18 out of 30 workers experienced eye fatigue. The data
collection methodology in this study is using primary data and secondary data.
Natural lighting in the workshop area of Production Line I is 260 lux and artificial
lighting is 98 lux. The additional lights needed are as many as 10 lamps with a
power of 250 watts to provide good lighting. The effect of lighting that does not
meet standards is the disruption of the work of workers because it can cause eye
fatigue. The company can replace the roof of the Production Line I workshop area
with a skylight roof so that the light produced is more optimal. Companies should
use an Automatic Light Intensity Control System so that the entire workshop area
has good lighting intensity according to the same standard and there are no several
points that have dim lighting.
