Pengaruh Leverage, Ukuran Dewan, Komite Audit, Kepemilikan Manajerial, dan Kepemilikan Institusional terhadap Agency Cost pada Perusahaan Sektor Properti dan Real Estate yang Terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia Tahun 2018-2020

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Leverage, Board Size, Audit Committee, Managerial Ownership, and Institutional Ownership on Agency costs in Property and Real estate Sector Companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2018-2020. The population in this study were 64 companies, by accessing financial reports and annual reports through the website www.idx.co.id. The sample in this study were 13 companies. The type of data in this study is secondary data. The sample selection method is purposive sampling method and data processing using E-Views software. The analysis used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results contained in this study are leverage, audit committee, managerial ownership, partially have no significant effect on agency costs. While board size partially has a neagtive and significant effect on agency costs, partially institutional ownership has a positive and significant effect on agency costs. The results show that leverage, board size, audit committee, managerial ownership, and institutional ownership simultaneously have a significant effect on agency costs in property and real estate companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2018-2020 period.
