Analisa Pencahayaan Alami terhadap Kenyamanan Visual ( Studi Kasus : Masjid AL-Amin )
Abstract
The mosque building requires a large and spacious room. One of the problems of
a large room is the natural lighting system in the room. Natural lighting strategies
take advantage of reducing environmental energy consumption from artificial
lighting. Natural lighting design is one that needs to be considered in designing
large buildings. The mosque building is a place of worship for Muslims so it
requires sufficient lighting to create a sense of comfort for its users. This study aims
to determine the level of natural lighting and visual comfort of openings at the Al Amin Mosque. The research method used is qualitative and quantitative or mixed
methods. The data collection method is in the form of observing openings, doors,
windows and building ventilation related to orientation, dimensions, position,
shape, and type of material. Questionnaires were distributed to 60 respondents with
prayer activities, reading the Koran, lectures, and other scientific studies. Data
collection was analyzed with Dialux software. Visual comfort at Al-Amin Mosque
is good, comply with the visual comfort standards set by SNI. Visual comfort,
namely that users feel comfortable with prayer activities, reading the qur’an,
learning science.
