dc.description.abstractThe purpose of this study was to determine the level of income inequality in the community in Bukit Lawang Village, Bahorok District and to find out how to handle inequality in the people of Bukit Lawang Village, Bahorok District. The type of research used in this study was qualitative and the type of data used was primary data derived from straight to the field. The number of respondents in this study was obtained using data analysis using the Slovin formula. The results of this study indicate that the level of inequality in the community in Bukit Lawang Village, Bahorok District is low and the way to handle inequality in the community in Bukit Lawang Village, Bahorok District is Diversification. Diversification strategies include: Maximizing technology mastery in the development of supporting subsystems/sectors, maximizing the business experience of residents/heads of households to encourage business enthusiasm to develop supporting Subsystems/sectors, minimizing the availability of land and development infrastructure to reduce companion institutions and other tourist objects as competitors , and also the demand for the tourism market, minimizing the availability of capital and ownership of business networks to reduce sectoral policies and the potential for business networks outside the village, maximizing business experience and business enthusiasm to increase knowledge in mastering technology to minimize facilitating institutions and other tourist objects as competitors and policies sectoral, maximizing mastery of technology and business enthusiasm to influence tourism market demand and the potential for business networks outside the village, minimizing land availability and completing development infrastructure to maximize supporting subsystems/sectors, reducing capital availability and adding partner institutional links for the development of supporting subsystems/sectorsen_US
