Perancangan Medan Creative Space dengan Pendekatan Arsitektur Tropis

Abstract

Indonesia's creative economy sector has experienced development in recent years, this is in line with the increase in the percentage of creative workers in Indonesia. Medan is a city with the most creative workers in North Sumatra. But in fact the city of Medan still doesn't have space for creative actors to be able to work, exchange ideas, and produce their creative works. Comfort has a close relationship with work productivity, while thermal comfort is one of the main problems that often arise in buildings located in cities with humid tropical climates. In response to this, the design of Medan Creative Space applies the concept of tropical architecture. Through the application of tropical architectural concepts to buildings, it is hoped that thermal comfort can be achieved.
