Abstract

A nursing home is where the elderly congregate to receive care for all of their needs, either willingly or as a result of their families handing them over. Nursing facilities support families as they work to solve social welfare issues. Nursing homes are designed with the physical surroundings outside of the people. Color, facade, texture, and touch, as well as aspects of nature and views, lighting and sound, smells, and other sensory stimuli linked to the design, are all included in the planning of the physical environment. This research aims to bring the idea of healing environment to the creation of a nursing home. Analysis of solar and wind data, vegetation, and analysis of spatial dimensions are the study methods employed. Considering the requirements of elderly with physical limitations, residents of nursing facilities are intended to feel safe and comfortable.
