The use of plastic is very difficult to separate from human life. Plastics that are dumped into waterways over time will degrade and form small pieces called microplastics. Microplastic pollution can also occur in the landfill environment and the waters next to it. One of the landfills that can be polluted by microplastics is the Tanjung City TPA. Around the TPA, there are fish ponds, which expose the fish in the ponds to the risk of being exposed to microplastic pollution. The purpose of this study was to determine the amount, shape, colour, and type of polymer and limit the microplastics present in fish. This research was conducted at five sampling points, and the samples used were tilapia samples that had been obtained and then prepared in the laboratory and carried out the Raman test. The results showed that the total challenge of microplastics reached 1043 particles from 10 fish collected, and the average supply of microplastics found in the digestion of fish was 0.596 particles/gr and 0.521 particles/gr in the gills. The results of the visual analysis from the microscope found microplastic forms in the form of fragments, fibres, films, and pellets. After conducting the Raman test, microplastic types were found to be polyethylene, polypropylene, and polystyrene. In this study, an analysis was also carried out regarding the effect of fish size on the amount of microplastics. The result was that the size of the fish did not affect the amount of microplastics found inen_US
