    Abstract
During the industrial revolution 4.0, the creative industry sector was one of the most important fields. Creative industry-based economic development produces added value based on knowledge, ideas and creativity, which is manifested into a work or creative product, to be marketed later. Medan City as a metropolitan city has enormous prospects in terms of the development of creative industries, therefore a forum is needed for discussion and cooperation for creative industry players that can be used as a support for skills and knowledge, so as to produce superior quality products and be able to compete in national and foreign markets. The design of the creative hub aims to create a creative economic ecosystem in Medan City by providing educational, research and collaboration facilities for creative actors and commercial, exhibition and recreational facilities for use by the general public. The application of contemporary architectural style to the creative hub building is shown in the attractive shape of the building with a dominant curved shape, glass facades to incorporate natural light, materials with neutral colors such as white, gray and brown wood, color play and murals on the facade to depict creativity, creation of spatial experiences with play of scale at the entrance and atrium, educational and commercial facilities and public spaces in the plaza and innercourt.
