dc.description.abstractAlong with the development of Lake Toba tourism and also Samosir Island in the tourism authority with targeted management to boost tourist visits, especially the improvement and development of infrastructure as the main factor for the progress of the Lake Toba area, the existence of lodging and recreational facilities needs to beFcreated inForder to accommodate the arriving tourists. Accommodation needs facilities which are then identified with the needs for hotel and resort development, especially in the Tuktuk Siadong Village area. Tuktuk Siadong Village located in Simanindo District is the center of tourist concentration on the island of Samosir, so this area is considered to have the highest need for hotel and resort facilities. The analysis and design concepts applied to this Resort Hotel will use an eco-culture approach. This approach will bring up a design that takes into account cultural values and the surrounding environment. The results of this study are a hotel and resortFbuilding design in the Tuktuk Siadong Village Area with an eco-cultural approach.en_US
