in it, sport center can also be utilized as a place to run a match in the physical field.
Sport center has an important role for people who have an interest in sports where
through the existing sport center facilities they can channel their talents and
interests, besides that sport center can also be a place of recreation as a side function
for the community. Sport center in addition to being a place to accommodate several
activities of its users can also often become an icon for a particular city / region.
But in reality in Pematangsiantar City the sport center does not meet the
eligibility standards for use so that the sport center cannot be used optimally. The
planning of this Sports Center uses a methodological approach to solving problems,
where there are several stages that will be carried out, starting from data collection,
analysis, and ending with drawing conclusions that will be carried out using survey
techniques, literature review, and research.
In the design of the sport center, the principles of Functional Architecture
will be applied, where through the application of these principles it is hoped that
the sport center can function optimally from every aspect of its design, both aspects
of construction, aesthetics, and the function of the building and the site of the sport
center.
It is hoped that by designing a Sports Center in Pematangsiantar City, the
local community can channel their positive activities in that place, especially in the
morning people who have more talent and interest in sports and are expected to
