Power plants in Indonesia are still dominated by power plants that utilize fossil materials as fuel to generate electricity. PTPN III PKS Sisumut is one of the oil palm plantation companies that has not utilized the waste of palm oil empty fruit bunches (OPEFB) as fuel for Biomass Power Plants (PLTBm). In this study, the feasibility of empty oil palm bunches by inserting them into the OPEFB Press Machine first was carried out to reduce oil and water levels before being used for Biomass Power Plants (PLTBm) using literature studies. The research results obtained. To produce 1 kWh of electrical energy requires 2.86 kg of OPEFB fibers with a fuel cost of 324.44/kWh. Meanwhile, for the procurement of PLTBm using the Direct Combustion method with OPEFB fuel, an investment cost of Rp. 29,449,817,708. Where the value of the Payback Period takes 5.43 years and with a Net Present Value (NPV) of Rp. 27,403,170,638.en_US
