dc.description.abstractIOT-based overvoltage and undervoltage protection relay using ESP32 works by comparing the input voltage with the regulated voltage. The voltage relay will work if the input voltage is still within the set limits and will transmit the voltage to the load. This thesis discusses the IOT-based overvoltage and undervoltage protection relay design using ESP32 which can protect input voltage, phase sequence, and voltage imbalance. The voltage relay can be set using a cell phone which can display monitoring of the voltage between phases, phase-neutral voltage, cut off time delay, percentage of voltage unbalance, and graphs of voltage readings. The ESP32 module is used as the main microcontroller for processing data and communication from the Blynk application on mobile phones and from Arduino Promini. Arduino is used to read the phase sequence and voltage data from the ZMPT101B voltage sensor. After the data has been processed, ESP32 will give a trip command to the control relay module if the conditions are met. Overvoltage settings, undervoltage, time delay and the percentage of voltage unbalance on the relay can be made by pressing the TFT LCD screen or via a mobile phone with the Blynk application. In the design of this voltage relay is able to detect the increase or decrease in the voltage that occurs. In the time delay, the error percentage is 3.62%. The voltage relay resulting from this design still works well because the reading tolerance is ± 5% in accordance with the IEEE Recommended Practice for Monitoring Electric Power Quality.en_US
