Prediksi Waktu Purifikasi Minyak Transformator Berdasarkan Berbagai Metode Analisis DGA (Studi Kasus PLN UPHK Medan)
Abstract
During normal operation of the transformer, insulation oil will be continuously subjected to thermal and electrical stress causing dissolving gases which can trigger a fire in the transformer. This study aims to compare the various methods of DGA analysis, namely the IEEE C57.104 standard method in the form of TDCG (Total Dissolved Combustible Gas) method, Key Gas method, Doernenburg Ratio method, Roger Ratio method and IEC 60599 standard in the form of Duval Triangle method, CO2/CO Ratio method which is more extreme in analyzing transformer oil failure indications, and predicting transformer oil purification time. The analyzed data were 4 samples of DGA data from PLN UPHK Medan laboratory. From the analysis of these 4 samples, it is proven that the duval triangle method is more extreme than the other 5 methods. The results showed that thermal error was dominant in all transformer oil samples. While the prediction of transformer oil purification time uses Python programming application. The first sample, transformer oil purification time is predicted to be 833 days since the last test. The second sample, transformer oil purification time is predicted to be 585 days since the last test. The third sample, transformer oil purification time is predicted to be 137 days since the last test. The fourth sample, transformer oil purification time is predicted to be 353 days since the last test.
