Monitoring Arus Listrik Menggunakan Sensor ACS712 Berbasis Internet of Things
Abstract
The monitoring system for household electric current at a rating of 1300VA functions to reconcile conditions and can display the use of electric power in a house via a smartphone or computer with internet access. The tool is designed using an esp32 microcontroller and an ACS712 current sensor. The way this tool works is to detect current and then the data is directed to the esp32 microcontroller module then the data is forwarded to the cloud server and downloaded by thingspeak so that it can display electric current data. The monitoring media in the monitoring system is the thingspeak platform. In the test results, the current sensor system can read the amount of current in 11 household electronic devices. The largest loading error value between the ACS712 sensor and the ampere meter is 7.23% where the ACS712 sensor reads 0.4291 Amperes and the ampere meter reads 0.3981 Amperes while the smallest loading error value between the ACS712 sensor and the ampere meter is 2.31% where the sensor The ACS712 reads 0.0845 Amperes and the ampere meter reads 0.0826 Amperes. The household electrical load current monitoring system can work properly after testing, this monitoring system can update the ACS712 sensor reading data every 1 second which is presented in graphic form by the thingspeak platform.
