dc.description.abstract | In the company's distribution chain, transportation is the most important part. Transportation in this context refers to the movement of products from companies to consumers. Transportation activities require substantial costs, consisting of drivers, fuel, vehicle maintenance, vehicle and equipment procurement capital, as well as administrative activities. The vehicle routing problem (VRP) represents the distribution of a logistics company, which aims to minimize the total distribution distance so that a minimum total cost is achieved. In VRP, all vehicles have the same payload capacity. But in reality the company has vehicles with different capacities. Therefore, a variant of VRP was born, namely the heterogeneous vehicle routing problem (HVRP). HVRP is VRP with vehicles that have different capacities. Transportation is a source of pollution, therefore electric vehicles are starting to replace fossil fuel vehicles. However, there are still a few electric vehicle recharging stations, especially in Indonesia. Therefore the authors build a model of heterogeneous vehicle routing problem by considering the recharging station | en_US |
