dc.description.abstract | The battery pack is the most important part of the electric vehicle, this
condition requires the battery to work optimally and maintain its health. Battery
pack is a combination of several batteries connected in series and parallel. PLTS
(Pembangkit Listrik tenaga Surya) is an integral part of environmentally friendly
energy. It is hoped that charging the battery pack can also use PLTS, so the
migration to environmentally friendly energy must be carried out in total. Battery
packs generally always use a BMS (Battery Management System). The function of
the BMS is to be able to protect the battery when charging and discharging. Apart
from the BMS, the active balancer is an important part of maintaining battery
health, but not many battery packs are currently equipped with this active
balancer. Active balancer is used to keep the battery voltage from one to the other
there is not too big a difference. Therefore, in this study, trials were carried out
on the condition of the battery pack when equipped with an active balancer and to
identify the impact of not using an active balancer. With this active balancer can
increase battery pack efficiency up to 12.05%. | en_US |
