    Abstract
Solar panels are very useful as an alternative source of backup electricity for the community. Solar panels can convert sunlight into electrical energy which will later be stored by batteries and can be used to turn on electricity in people's homes. However, many solar panels have not been used by the community, especially people who are still limited in knowing how to use them. It has been designed and implemented an alternative solar panel designed using used cassettes and led lamps. To be able to convert sunlight into an electric voltage, an LED lamp is needed which is arranged in series so that the voltage can be channeled into a DC voltage, and used cassettes function as sun reflectors so that sunlight can hit the LED lights perfectly. During the sampling process, the CD is placed in the sun so that sunlight hits the CD and then reflects into the led light. The way this alternative Solar Panel works is starting from the process of absorbing sunlight by the LEDs and then the sunlight is optimized so that a CD/DVD is needed so that the absorption of sunlight is more perfect so as to produce a greater voltage. Then the voltage value will be measured by a voltmeter. The results of this study show that the maximum voltage data per cd is approximately 1.10V with a CD in which 64 series of LED lights are arranged. The LEDs are arranged in series with the aim that the output voltage (volts) that comes out of the LED foot increases so that a normal voltage output can be created with a value per CD of 1.10 Volts or even greater.
