dc.description.abstractSavings and Loan Cooperative Credit Union Harapan Kita Medan is a non-banking institution engaged in the service sector, therefore employees who are in these institutions certainly play an important role in ensuring the continuity of the company's operations, so every company must have programs that can be used as a means to improve the quality of human resources. The quality of human resources can be improved by increasing the motivation of employees themselves. As for several factors that affect employee motivation, one of them is to impose an effective reward system for employees. This study aims to determine the effect of the effectiveness of the reward system on employee motivation savings and Loan Credit Union Harapan Kita Medan. The subjects in this study were employees of the Harapan Kita Medan Credit Union Savings and loan Cooperative, totaling 108 people. This study uses quantitative methods using likert scale as a method of data collection, namely the scale of the effectiveness of the reward system and work motivation scale. The method of analysis used in this study is a simple linear regression analysis method and get the results that: (1) the effectiveness of the reward system has a positive effect on employee motivation savings and Loan Credit Union Harapan Kita Medan. (2) the effectiveness of the reward system has an effect of 50% on the motivation of employees of the savings and Loan Credit Union Harapan Kita Medan. This study revealed that the effectiveness of the reward system has an effect on work motivation.en_US
