Pengaruh Reputasi Penjamin Emisi Saham (Underwriter), Return on Equity (ROE), Net Profit Margin (NPM), Earning Per Share (EPS), dan Ukuran Perusahaan (SIZE) terhadap Underpricing Saham pada Perusahaan yang Melakukan Initial Public Offering (IPO) di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) Tahun 2018-2020

Abstract

This study is aimed to determine the effect of underwriter reputation, return on equity (ROE), net profit margin (NPM), earning per share (EPS), and firm size of share underpricing at companies who did initial public offering (IPO) in Indonesia Stock Exchange year 2018-2020. This study has an integrated population consist of 161 companies. The purposive sampling technique is used in this study and there are 148 selected companies that pass the criteria to be studied further. The type of data is secondary and the collecting data technique is using documentation method. Data analysis techniques that used is multiple linear regression analysis. The result of this study shows that partially underwriter reputation, EPS, and firm size has negative significant effect on share underpricing. Meanwhile, the ROE and NPM do not have a significant effect on share underpricing. Simultaneously, underwriter reputation, return on equity (ROE), net profit margin (NPM), earning per share (EPS), and firm size have significant effect on underpricing at companies who did initial public offering (IPO) in Indonesia Stock Exchange year 2018-2020
