Perubahan Bunyi Bahasa Proto Austronesia ke dalam Bahasa Palembang Dialek Melayu Palembang: Kajian Linguistik Historis Komparatif

Abstract

This study aims to describe: (1) Sound changes that occur in Austronesian Proto into Palembang language of Palembang malay dialect to be precise in the people of Kalidoni, Sei Selayur and Sei Selincah Villages, Palembang City (2) The types of phonetic changes that occur in Austronesian Proto into Palembang Language of Palembang Malay dialect to be precise in the people of Kalidoni, Sei Selayur and Sei Selincah Villages, Palembang City. The data were collected by using observation technique methode with involved conversation observation technique and writing technique. In analyzing the data using the matching method supported by the technique of sorting the determining elements (pup technique). This study uses Gorys Keraf's theory and uses Comparative Historical Linguistic Studies .The results of this study indicate that there is one change in palatalization assimilation and then there are six sound changes based on place, namely : metathesis, apheresis, syncope, apocope, epenthesis and paragog, and there are five phonetic changes that occur such as linear inheritance, inheritance with changes, inheritance with omissions, inheritance with additions and inheritance with combinations of phonemes.
