    Abstract
The objective of the research is to find out the digital discrepancy in the students of MAN 2 Model, Medan. The research employs descriptive approach. The samples consist of 15 informants, taken by using purposive sampling technique. The data are gathered by conducting observation, interview, and documentation. The data are analyzed by using data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The result of the research shows that the theory of digital discrepancy consists of access models: Motivational Access, Material Access, Skills Access, and Usage Access. In Motivational Access, the students are able to optimize the available media to be used as the media for searching for information according to the school's needs and general knowledge. In Material Access, the students have smartphonesand some use their laptops although most of them do not have laptops; besides that, the internet network at the school is not strong enough. In Skills Access, the students access software on their smartphones to do TIK (Information, Communication, and Technology) practical work, and there is a difference in eeking, selecting, and processing information. In the Usage Access, the students access the internet by scheduling their learning and playing time within 1-2 hours. The conclusion is that there are two discrepancy aspects in MAN 2 Model, Medan: . laterial Access and Skills Access.
